Ryan Adams Plays Conan + “Lucky Now” Video
Ashes & Fire’s “Lucky Now” is a straightforward number on the surface, but given its mournful subtext (related to the untimely passing of Cardinals bassist Chris “Spacewolf” Feinstein) and the shape it’s taken on live of late, the tune continues to unfold with fresh angles in which fading memories, nostalgia, and optimism emerge from a poignant tone Ryan Adams has refined for years.
